Paradox Interactive Announces the Release of Cities: Skylines 2 for PC and Consoles
Paradox Interactive has announced the much-awaited sequel to its popular city builder game, Cities: Skylines. The new game, called Cities: Skylines 2, is being developed by Colossal Order and will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 later this year.
Revolutionary Spin on the Original Game
Cities: Skylines 2 promises to be a “revolutionary” spin on the original game, giving players the tools to build any kind of city they can imagine and follow its growth from a humble village to a bustling metropolis. The game will be the “most open-ended city-building sandbox on the planet,” enabling players to create and maintain cities that come to life like never before.
Fully-Realised Transport and Economy Systems
Cities: Skylines 2 will feature fully-realised transport and economy systems, alongside a wealth of construction and customisation options. Colossal Order is hoping to help solidify the longevity of the game from the start, with promises of advanced modding capabilities.
